Biography
Hi! My name is Cyrus Bhiladvala, and I am a third year student studying Biology at UBC. I have a previous degree in Math with a minor in Physics which I finished in 2019. Through a transformational co-op year at BC Children’s Hospital, I found a passion for clinical research. Through this co-op I got the opportunity to design an assessment of the nutritional status of pediatric patients in a small town in Uganda, making lasting connections with local medical professionals and NGOs in the process. Since my graduation, I worked at BC Women’s Hospital, collecting clinical data for projects in obstetric anesthesia research. I would love to do my part in getting any interested students involved in clinical research. I love playing saxophone, clarinet, and I am an avid chess player as well. In the summers I go hiking and camping around Vancouver.
