Biography
Hi! My name’s Michelle, and I’m in my third year, studying a Combined Honours in Chemical Biology. Throughout my undergrad, I’ve been involved in many different research labs, from psychedelic therapies, to economic analyses of BC healthcare systems, to chemical synthesis. I’m incredibly interested in the application of research towards the betterment of the world, and I make it a goal of mine to produce meaningful work that will make the world a better place for those that come after me. For example, I currently work as a Research Assistant in the UBC Digital Emergency Medicine Lab, where I look at evaluating the BC HEiDi 811 service and how it is impacting rural, remote, and Indigenous communities across BC. In my free time, I enjoy reading, staying active, and the great outdoors.
