What is a REX mentor?
REX mentors are graduate students or post-doctoral fellows with research experience who work with UBC undergraduates to develop and present their own original research projects at the annual Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC). The work of a REX mentor includes:
Guiding mentees through the process of designing and answering a research question
Guiding mentees through the process of designing and answering a research question
Supporting students as they work hard to create their own research
Showing mentees how interesting and rewarding research can be!
